Reflections

During the first grading period from June to August, I can say that I had gained and learned many things that were discussed to us. From the moral values to the unending world of economics. From parts of speech to campus journalism in Filipino. From music, arts, physical education and health to the amazing world of physics. From algebra and trigonometry to the hi-tech creation of technology and livelihood education.

But before I learned all these things, I had met many difficult challenges that made or help me pursue discovering many things in life. I had experienced many nights burning the midnight oil just to finish my assignments. I had felt my toes aching in the sense that I can't walk straight, but I have to for the sake of my grades. I listened to the discussions of my teacher even if I am so sleepy. I had experienced also to go to school on weekends to do some paper works together with my group mates.

I am so blessed because I was able to face/meet those challenges in my life as a student. In the end, I am still recalling those memories, memories that made me stronger and ready to face more challenging, more difficult problems and toils in the days to come. After all, life is like that, full of challenges, challenges that will make you a better individual in the future.

Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan

"All things are artificial, for nature is the gift of God." This is a quotation of Mr. Thomas Browne, an English physician and writer. Language is how people communicate with one another. It's a terrific tool. The daily usage of our Filipino language and taking good care of our nature will help us realize the real meaning of unity and peace.
We should give and show love, care and importance to our country especially to our nature and to our own language. One Philippines, one language, one goal. And we should give attention for it. Nature is the gift of God to us man, we should treasure and value the things around us. can you imagine a country without a permanent language? And a country that is lack of nature? Well, that explains on what a country is missing for. The people living in that country have no peace, unity and beauty at all. We are so blessed that we have our own language in communicating to others and that's one of our pride, the Filipino language.
Keep on using our own language and always preserve the nature. Be proud that you are a Filipino. Shout it in the world!

"Sa pagkaing tama at sapat wastong timbang ni baby ang katapat."

"Healthy people are those who live in healthy homes on a healthy diet in an environment equally fit for birth, growth, work, healing, and dying." This quotation of Mr. Ivan Illich says a fact. Eating is the consumption of food to sustain life. A new born baby should breastfeed by his/her mother so that the baby will be healthy.
A pregnant woman should always eat healthy foods for her baby. The key in staying healthy and strong is to eat large quantities of energy-rich foods. But if mother won't do it, the baby will be malnourished and unhealthy.
A healthy mother means a healthy baby. It is very important to eat nutritious and delicious foods in order the mother will be healthy and strong in giving birth.
